A leading consultancy in the UAE is looking for a Projects Manager to oversee budgeting, procurement, and project management for ISP schools. This role requires strong communication and cost management skills, with a focus on sustainability practices and collaboration with a range of stakeholders.
ISP Projects Manager Role Profile
Purpose of Role
The Projects Manager will be responsible for supporting pre- and post-contract cost and project management services, assisting in financial control, procurement processes, and implementation of sustainability practices. This role also oversees school transport coordination and supports facilities management activities across ISP schools. Working collaboratively with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, this role contributes to the successful completion of projects while ensuring alignment with ISP’s ESG principles, budget, and contractual obligations.

ISP Key Responsibilities
-Delivering pre and post contract cost and project management services
-Delivering high quality services and ensuring that project management deliverables meet ISP requirements
-Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control
-Reviewing and monitoring consultants and contractors across all the projects, while working closely with and reporting to the Head of Projects
-Preparing and implementing procurement strategies
-Timely appointment of supply chain partners through competitive RFP process, monitoring of contractors & consultants, weekly/bi-weekly/monthly reporting, contract administration, commercial management (timely issuance & approval of payment certificates, variations, claims, contractual notifications, final account, closeout), school visits, liaising with ISP and School SLT for their inputs
-Managing the tender process along with the cost consultants
-Evaluating and reporting on tenders
-Valuing completed work and arranging for payments
-Manage claims, variations, and disputes to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
-Collaborate with project managers, architects, and design teams to ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented
-Producing and presenting internal weekly / monthly reports
-Support the implementation and monitoring of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives across all property and infrastructure-related projects
-Coordinate school transport requirements including scheduling, logistics, vendor liaison, and service optimization
