Key Objectives
- Safe and effective delivery of brownfield critical projects on multiple onshore facilities, including large production complexes, within an EPCM/EPS/EP/E contracting model.
- Manage projects from Design to Handover, covering Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management, Completions, and Commissioning.
- Establish and manage project teams to ensure delivery excellence.
- Provide certainty and confidence to clients and project sponsors on safety, optimization, cost control, risk management, schedule, and stakeholder engagement.
- Deliver projects within the commercial framework, responsible for Project P&L.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Project Execution
- Technical and commercial responsibility for contract execution from review to close-out.
- P&L responsibility, including revenue, margin, overheads, budgets, risks, and cash flow.
- Organize and motivate project teams, define responsibilities, and conduct regular meetings.
- Set objectives aligned with contract scope and company policies.
- Delegate work to promote responsibility and accountability.
- Lead to ensure safety, cost-effectiveness, and timely resolution of interfaces.
- Develop and maintain effective project management practices.
- Coordinate site supervision, manage contractors, and monitor progress.
- Oversee project master program, milestones, and phases.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards and quality of materials.
- Ensure team competence and review project proposals and plans.
- Manage scope changes through the Change Management process.
- Innovate through digitalisation, technology, and global collaboration.
- Establish project procedures and lead production of the execution plan.
- Report progress to senior management and clients.
- Ensure schedule and financial targets are met, proactively addressing slippage.
- Focus on risk mitigation during execution.
- Lead HSSE initiatives and address quality management issues.
- Guide multidisciplinary teams, including external specialists.
- Manage information systems for project phases and documentation.
- Participate in assurance activities and peer reviews.
- Resolve conflicts in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment.
- Participate in design reviews, value engineering, risk workshops, etc.
- Conduct technical bid evaluations and clarifications.
Leadership
- Guide and direct project teams and external specialists.
- Promote ethical behaviour and compliance.
- Coach, mentor, and empower team members.
Working Relationships
Internal
- Coordinate with project contributors and support teams.
- Manage scope across offices and interface with operational teams.
External
- Primary contact for clients on scope.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Represent the company in contractual negotiations.

- Decisions significantly impact project outcomes.
- Work under general direction, reviewed for policy conformance.
- Engage with Project Director on key issues.
- Solve problems with financial, social, or political implications.
- Review and approve proposals within delegated authority.
Qualifications

Expected
- B.S. or equivalent in Engineering.
- PMP, APM, or similar certification preferred.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in major brownfield oil & gas projects, including 5 years in a similar role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Proven ability to manage EPC/EPCM contracts for onshore brownfield projects.
- Experience managing lump sum oil and gas projects in the GCC region preferred.
- Strong leadership, technical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of project management practices and risk management.
- Experience in project initiation, planning, and execution.
- Knowledge of industry standards and quality assurance.
