About:

Alef Group is a pioneer in developing premier lifestyle communities, destinations, and experiences through investment and strategic joint ventures, seeking an experienced and hands-on Project Manager to join our growing team in Sharjah.

Job Purpose:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of Alef’s real estate development projects, including residential buildings, villas, townhouses, and infrastructure. The role ensures that assigned projects are delivered in accordance with the approved design, cost, schedule, quality, and safety requirements. The Project Manager will coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to achieve successful and timely project delivery.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the full project lifecycle from design development, tendering, construction, and handover stages.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, cost plans, and quality control measures in alignment with the overall development strategy.
  • Coordinate with design consultants and contractors to ensure timely submission of drawings, approvals, and execution programs.
  • Monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure adherence to specifications, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays, cost overruns, and scope changes.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
  • Track project budgets and support procurement activities, including review of BOQs, tender evaluations, and contract administration.
  • Prepare and submit regular project reports highlighting progress, issues, and recommendations to senior management.

Participate in technical reviews, value engineering workshops, and change order evaluations.

  • Ensure proper documentation, handover protocols, and close-out procedures are completed for all projects.

Educational Qualifications, Work Experience, and Skills required:

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture is required. Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of overall experience in construction and project execution of residential buildings, villas, townhouses, and infrastructure projects.
  • At least 5 years in a project management role overseeing the delivery of real estate developments.
  • Previous experience working with developers, consultants, or PMC firms in the UAE or GCC is highly desirable.

Skills required:

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project planning, contract administration, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and familiar with standard forms of contract (FIDIC, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple contractors and consultants while maintaining project control and reporting standards.
  • Knowledge of local construction regulations, authority approvals, and permitting processes in Sharjah/UAE
