Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for the timely management and execution of the W Hotel & Residences project on Al Marjan Island, ensuring the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely completion and handover of the project to the operations team, maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Direct and monitor project progress by coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, and site engineering teams.
• Define technical specifications, budgeting, cost estimates, installation, and commissioning.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
• Be responsible for total site management and construction operations.
• Maintain strict quality control procedures, including regular material testing, work inspections, and site safety checks.
• Provide MIS reporting on project progress.
• The Project Manager will report to the top management including ownership and the CEO.

Qualifications

The desired candidate should have a degree in B.Tech/B.E Civil from a reputed institution. A post-graduate degree in management is an added plus. The ideal candidate should have at least 15-20 years of prior experience in project management and execution with a leading chain of hotels or a real estate company, of which at least the last 8 years should be in a project-leading role. The incumbent should have driven and executed large-scale hotel or real estate projects from initiation to handover. An integral member of the company’s staff, the candidate must exemplify the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and discretion. S/he should be willing to work in a multicultural and demanding environment. S/he should be a detail-oriented person who can tackle multiple complex assignments simultaneously. A self-starter with the ability to act autonomously and with a demonstrated ability to collaborate and be a leader.
