Project Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE
The role will be primarily office-based with flexibility for remote working. Travel to Iraq, under strict security protocols, on a visiting basis may be required.
The Role: Reports to the Project Director on the management of multiple Task Orders, ensuring KBR is delivery and commercially compliant, and that Task Orders are managed consistently across the programme.
Main Responsibilities:
- Management of all aspects of delivering one or more Task Orders as part of the management role on a major projects' consultancy programme.
- Management and support of Task Order Teams ensuring that the project goals and schedule are understood and delivered.
- Manage delivery of all project deliverables to ensure delivery of the Task Order to technical, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Manage the commercial relationship with the Client in terms of delivery of the Task Order, including developing and managing requirements matrices, schedule, resource profiles which are updated and communicated on a regular basis.
- Interface with all sections of the team to meet overall programme deliverables.
- Development, establishment, and execution of standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Responsible to manage and coordinate multiple Task Order Team inputs for Client reporting.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:
- BSc Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum overall relevant experience: 8 years.
- Minimum relevant experience in project roles: 5 years.
- Minimum regional experience: 3 years.
- Ability to effectively monitor and analyze progress, cost, and risks, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Excellent management skills.
- Experienced user of MS Office suite.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major asset and civil infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and utilities (preferred).
- Fluency in English both written and spoken; Arabic speaking is advantageous.
