Our client, a leading global management consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Data & AI to lead the delivery of complex, high-impact data and AI initiatives across the UAE and GCC. This strategic role is central to driving innovation and digital transformation across key sectors. The successful candidate will bring a blend of consulting expertise, project leadership, and deep technical understanding of AI/ML and data ecosystems. Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead end-to-end execution of AI/ML and data transformation projects, from initiation through to implementation and post-delivery assessment. Manage project timelines, scope, financials, and resource planning to ensure high-quality outcomes on time and within budget. Oversee both in-house and client teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological feasibility.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, building trusted advisor relationships. Translate client needs into actionable strategies, balancing business objectives with data and AI capabilities. Lead client workshops, executive briefings, and steering committee meetings.
• Technical Program Oversight: Work closely with data scientists, AI engineers, and technical architects to ensure alignment between business needs and technical delivery. Provide guidance on best practices in data architecture, model development, data governance, and AI ethics. Monitor solution performance, KPIs, and integration into client environments.
• Market & Regulatory Insight: Leverage deep understanding of the UAE market to tailor AI/data strategies in line with national digital agendas, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific priorities. Ensure compliance with local data protection laws, AI governance frameworks, and responsible AI principles.
• Team & Capability Development: Lead multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams across regions and time zones, fostering collaboration and high performance. Coach and mentor junior consultants and technical staff to build internal data and AI capabilities.

Ideal Candidate

• 8+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on AI, Machine Learning, data analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven success delivering complex data and technology programs within a consulting environment.
• Solid understanding of data platforms, cloud-based infrastructure, and AI solution lifecycles, including architecture, development, and deployment.
• Demonstrated strategic insight into the UAE’s digital transformation landscape, including alignment with national initiatives, regulatory frameworks, and sector-specific innovation agendas.
• Fluent in Arabic and English – both written and spoken (mandatory).
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, with a strong ability to manage teams and navigate high-pressure environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in project management or agile delivery methodologies are preferred.
