Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

Play a vital role acting as a bridge between a project's plan and its execution. A PM's core role is to ensure that projects meet deadlines, stay within budget, and adhere to quality standards. Oversee the project to ensure the desired result is achieved on time and within budget, project objectives are met based on the most efficient resources used and satisfy the customer requirements. Handle and support the Project.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with senior leadership to define project objectives, scope, and milestone-based deliverables.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of project managers, providing guidance and support.
  3. Culture connect: Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the project management team.
  4. Project Execution: Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  5. Risk mitigation: Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  6. Stakeholder management/communication: Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones. Manage stakeholders' expectations and facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams.
  7. Resource Management: Mobilize resources appropriately to ensure the successful execution of projects. Identify and address resource constraints to optimize project delivery.
  8. Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.
  9. Quality Assurance: Implement project management best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Establish and enforce project management standards to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality projects. Conduct regular project reviews and implement improvements as needed.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
  11. Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, regulatory guidelines, and quality standards.
  12. Perform other responsibilities as directed by the manager.
People Management Responsibilities:
  • Support in fulfilling departmental KPIs. Help subordinate teams align by defining goals for team members.
  • Ensure objective periodic administration of performance appraisals, providing ongoing feedback.
  • Provide inputs on performance improvement and capability development, leveraging people's strengths and developing them through various means.
  • Identify skill gaps and organize training for the team to ensure overall learning and development.
  • Promote positive team leadership and maintain open communication channels.
Qualifications:
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering, related Engineering courses, IT, or Business Administration.
  • Certified Project Management Professional preferred.
  • Experience: 7-12 years, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial capacity, managing successful projects including complex projects involving multiple staff and clients.
Language Skills:
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic.
  • Behavioral Competencies: Strong leadership, relationship skills, collaboration, problem-solving, discipline, commitment, teamwork, quick learning, creativity, and self-motivation.
Technical Competencies:
  • Project Management Tools & Methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Full Project Life Cycle Management.
  • Business Acumen.
  • Stakeholder Management, Product Backlog Management (JIRA).
  • Business Process Mapping/Alignment.
  • In-depth Business Analysis / Requirements Capture & Analysis.
  • Critical Thinking.
