Job Description

As a Project Manager at Valtech, you will need to be able to walk the line between the customer needs, the Project team's needs, and Valtech's needs. This means you will be accountable for ensuring that the work being delivered by the team is in line with our commercial agreements and agreed commercial outcomes.

In order to do this, you will need to manage expectations and risk both internally and externally and be prepared to have difficult conversations and hold others to account where necessary.

What you will be doing:

• You will be managing delivery of a project, or multiple projects within a single account, from participation in pre-sales to inception and through its full lifecycle.
• Manage delivery in collaboration with client stakeholders, ensuring appropriate tracking, reporting, and governance.
• Accountable for successful outcomes for both Valtech and the customer. Support and enable a cross-functional team (which may include customer staff) through all aspects of product development.
• Coach both client and Valtech team members in effective Agile practices and principles.
• Build and manage multi-functional project teams across multiple delivery centres with budgetary management responsibilities.
• Lead various client-focused activities from the bid phase of the project to delivery.
• Continuous approach to planning, forecasting, estimating, and managing uncertainty.
• Ensure collaboration and communication between the team and focus on delivery of the most valuable work.
• Manage dependencies, constraints, and overcome obstacles.
• Valtech Dubai is hiring a Project Manager to join our growing and diverse team in the region. A client-facing role for someone with excellent consultancy experience delivering Agile Digital projects.
• Practical experience in accountability and delivery of Agile projects in a digital transformation environment.
• Solid knowledge of Agile principles, tools, and techniques.
• Consulting and client-facing experience in a digital transformation environment.
• Commercial awareness and experience of managing budgets.
• Experience of full Software Delivery Lifecycle.
• Experience of strong customer engagement and stakeholder management.
• Experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Experience of working on customer sites with co-sourced teams.
• Experience of delivery across a wide range of products and services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Expertise:

• Experience in travel & hospitality.
• Competencies in composable technologies and platforms.
• Delivered multiple projects valued at US$500k+.
