Position Overview: The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage an IT organisational design change. This role requires expertise in running RFPs/tenders, excellent communication skills, understanding of organizational design. Preferred experience in SAP ERP domain and understanding IT governance are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Monitoring: Track project progress, performance, and deliverables using appropriate project management tools.
- IT Governance: Understanding of and adherence to IT governance, this includes process and meetings and organising information packs and actions as required
- RFP/Tender Management: Develop, issue, and manage RFPs/tenders, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
- Communication: Facilitate clear and open communication among senior stakeholders, team members, and vendors.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
- ERP: experience in ERP is preferred, ideally SAP
- Consultancy Collaboration: experience working with IT consultancies
Essential requirements:
- Operates at a PMO/governance level, not hands-on delivery
- Has post-ERP implementation experience, ideally in change or organisational design initiatives
- Are confident managing RFP/tender processes and working with consultancies
- Understands IT governance, executive reporting, and stakeholder comms
- Has ideally worked on SAP ERP programmes (but not in a technical role)
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Certification: Project management certification
