ABB in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead medium-size projects within the Electrification Distribution Solutions portfolio. The role is onsite, reporting to the Project Operations Manager, and requires coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring delivery of contracted deliverables and adherence to ABB standards.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of PM experience, a Master’s in engineering, and proven ability to manage stakeholders and risks.

Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.The work model for the role is: onsite.This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions. Main stakeholders are End Users, Contractors and Consultants outside ABB and Local Units and Factories inside ABB.You will be mainly accountable for:Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.Ensures that the project follows execution’s best practices and ABB policies.Monitors and controls project progress effectively and efficient resource utilization.Defines and applies project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively to avoid possible future schedule deviations with On Time Delivery (OTD) impact.Applies earned value method to manage the critical path and project float to optimize the schedule.Our team dynamicsYou will join a motivated and high-performing team, where you will have the opportunity to grow, contribute, and thrive in a collaborative environment.Qualifications for the roleYou are highly skilled in project management methodologies and tools and thrive in managing complex projects, coordinating diverse stakeholders, and delivering successful outcomes in Utility, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and other segments.You bring at least 10 years of project management experience, with a strong track record of leading teams, managing stakeholders, and achieving project objectives.You are passionate about leading teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving successful project outcomes through effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solvingMaster’s degree in engineeringYou are at ease communicating in EnglishWhat's in it for you?We are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join our motivated and high-performing team.
