Job summary
A leading infrastructure development company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced individual to lead large-scale civil infrastructure projects. Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large scale civil infrastructure projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, MEP/MEI, and utilities scopes.
- Oversee civil works including earthworks, foundations, superstructures, and finishing works.
- Manage MEP/MEI installations, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Ensure integration of power & utilities infrastructure such as substations, water supply, drainage, and other essential services.
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government authorities for smooth project execution.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve technical and commercial issues promptly.
- Enforce strict adherence to QHSE standards and regulations across all project phases.
- Implement quality procedures to ensure work meets the required specifications and standards.
- Obtain all necessary permits, licenses, and statutory approvals in a timely manner.
- Track project progress and prepare periodic reports for senior management.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 12–15 years of experience in managing civil infrastructure projects with exposure to construction, power & utilities, general contracting, and MEP/MEI scope.
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects within strict timelines and budgets.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools, methodologies, and international standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
