Project Manager

We have an opening for a Project Manager with Commissioning experience for our Inhouse Engineering team based in Abu Dhabi.

Main Purpose of Role:

The role is accountable for project delivery, performance, and commercial success by managing all project activities and resources while ensuring client satisfaction.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Project Management roles (Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager, Project Engineering Manager).
• At least 7 years of working experience with ADNOC group (preferably ADNOC Onshore, ADNOC Gas, and ADNOC Offshore).
• Experience in managing large detailed design scopes and successful project execution as an Engineering Manager for ADNOC (CONCEPT, FEED) / EPC Projects.
• Accountability for the technical integrity of all project deliverables, including drawings, calculations, datasheets, technical specifications, material requisitions, bid evaluations, schedules, MTOs, and work volumes, in accordance with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
• Ability to lead, coordinate, and manage discipline groups and engineering deliverables to ensure quality and avoid non-value-added work.
• Responsible for quality documentation and reporting non-compliances for process improvement.
• Strong experience managing projects on 3D platforms.
• Effective management of subcontractors.
• Excellent understanding of audience needs and communication.
• Proactive in project scope management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Strong engineering/design background to manage technical disciplines effectively.
• Experience in contract management with clients.
• Ability to develop and monitor a quality management plan to meet stakeholder needs.
• Proficiency in developing and controlling project budgets and costs.
• Conflict resolution skills for managing conflicting information and priorities.
• Regional knowledge and experience within the UAE or GCC, working with NOCs, IOCs, and EPC clients, with prior engineering/design experience as an advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Background in Mechanical, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation, or Process Engineering is preferable.
