Job description

This person will be responsible for day-to-day project management and people management in the offshore delivery center.

He/She will also oversee delivery, scope, timeline, project status reporting, and other project management activities. Hands-on knowledge of software development methodologies is essential, with Agile knowledge considered a plus. Responsibilities include:

• Negotiating with the customer and on-site Project Managers (delivery management, requirements management, requirements analysis, etc.)
• Introducing and enhancing software development methodologies within the project
• Coordinating and collaborating with other projects and QA engineers
• Facilitating change management processes
• Motivating the team, team building, and assessing project team members

Skills

Must have

• 6+ years of experience in information technology
• Project management experience with hands-on data analytics expertise
• Understanding of the investment data lifecycle in private and/or public markets
• Knowledge of investment and finance applications and SaaS platforms
• Experience overseeing the planning, design, architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment of data systems (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, others), databases, data integration, application integration, BI, and analytics workloads
• Fundamental knowledge of data strategy development, data modeling, data architecture, data governance, and data engineering
• Exposure to data science, AI, and Generative AI implementation

• Ability to ensure project success by managing dependencies and milestones
• Driver mentality: assertive, attentive, and detail-oriented
• Capability to handle multiple projects involving data & analytics expertise

Nice to have

• Experience managing teams that develop and implement new technology
• Experience managing teams involved in implementing Advanced Analytics in multinational companies
• Experience with SAFe framework and release management
