Under the guidance of the Projects Director, the Project Manager is responsible for delivering projects from initial preparation to final onsite delivery, including dismantling. They serve as the main point of contact and take full ownership of the project, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Requirements
- Act as the main point of contact, liaising between the client and all internal and external stakeholders.
Project Preparation:
- Study and understand all project details and constraints, developing an action plan for success.
- Collaborate with designers to prepare technical drawings and relevant documents.
- Develop a production and build-up plan aligned with project milestones.
- Prepare project P&L based on provided budgets to monitor progress and ensure profitability.
- Provide necessary documentation (technical drawings, bill of quantities, project planning, access permits) to production crews, subcontractors, and site managers.
Project Execution:
- Control job costs to meet budgets and targets using available tools.
- Manage internal and external resources, including outside labor and purchase approvals.
- Analyze project financials to control costs and maximize profitability.
- Manage changes to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Provide clients with regular updates and escalate issues when necessary.
- Prepare health and safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.
Project Delivery, Closing, and Reporting:
- Maintain up-to-date project files in the server and ERP system.
- Manage relationships with client representatives and stakeholders for a successful customer experience.
- Prepare closure documentation, including performance and financial reports.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Over 5 years of project management experience in events, exhibitions, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or relevant field.
- Technical knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, and techniques (carpentry, paint, steel, electrical).
- Strong planning and budgeting skills.
- Client management experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- UAE driving license holder.
