Job summary

Veolia Environnement SA is seeking a Project Finance Director for the Near & Middle East region to manage all financial aspects of development projects from inception through handover. You will advise Business Development teams, coordinate with the CFO in Dubai, and lead financial modeling, risk analyses, and deal structuring for complex greenfield and brownfield ventures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA or professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in corporate and project finance.
• Strong IFRS accounting knowledge.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Experience with project finance structuring and debt financing.
• Ability to coordinate due diligence across technical, legal and financial areas.
• Fluent English; Arabic or French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling for projects and M&A opportunities.
• Assess financial returns under IFRS standards and conduct impairment testing as needed.
• Coordinate risk analysis and management for project finance.
• Structure and optimize project financing solutions with banks and financial institutions.
• Oversee due diligence, deal execution and integration for transactions.
• Prepare investment memorandums and support Investment Committee presentations.
