We are looking for a Project Finance Analyst to work on large scale projects related to water treatment investments. The Project Finance Analyst will work in a small, but highly talented team to perform analytical tasks on finance from banks, financial institutions, lenders and investors to ensure projects are profitable and remain on course. It is essential that the Project Finance Analyst has strong financial modeling experience and comes from a background in either infrastructure projects, investment banking or consultancy focusing on modelling for project finance.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop vigorous financial models/templates for water infrastructure projects (long term concessions), including but not limited to setting up key drivers of the model (revenue, costs, tax & accounting, inflation, debt, equity), building calculations and output sheets, etc.
Generate accurate/robust outputs, for stakeholders, including IRR, payback, scenario and sensitivity analysis, tables and graphs [reflecting key assumptions] and inputs to assess the robustness and sustainability of projects.
Liaise closely with business development teams to support bid submissions creating focused bid models, including project risk and sensitivity analysis.
Support the Project Finance team in assessing bankability of prospective projects and negotiating applicable project agreements.
Support the Project Finance team in liaising with external advisers and managing their deliverables.
Support the Project Finance team on discussions with the potential financiers/banks in raising funding, managing due diligence, negotiating financing documents and achieving financial close.
Support in creating presentations, teasers and info memos for the use of the potential financiers.
