Job summary

A global engineering firm in Abu Dhabi seeks a Project/Field Engineer to manage project planning and execution. The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have over 6 years of experience in project-related roles, demonstrating strong technical knowledge, particularly in HSE and quality control. Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or Trenching Engineer.
• Strong understanding of HSE protocols and safety standards.
• Experience in soil classification and pipeline installation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project plans and ensure implementation of work.
• Ensure HSE requirements are integrated into project activities.
• Manage contractors and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain quality control on site.
• Oversee Onshore & Offshore projects to ensure compliance.

Purpose of the position: As Project/Field Engineer you will support planning, coordinating, and delivering the projects safely, on time, and within budget.

• Prepare project plans and ensure timely, safe and cost-effective implementation of work in accordance with the company’s procedures and client’s satisfaction.
• Ensure HSE requirements are integrated into the project.
• Manage contractors and vendors.
• Prepare reports.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with technical specifications.
• Manage Onshore & Offshore projects.

What are we looking for?

• Education: Master’s Degree or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Background: Minimum 6 years as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or Trenching Engineer.
• Technical Knowledge: HSE, soil classification, pipeline installation, quality and control site inspections.
