About the Client:

L’ECOLE, School of Jewelry Arts, founded in 2012 by Van Cleef & Arpels, aims to spread the culture of jewelry to wide audiences through courses, exhibitions, young people workshops, talks, conferences and publications.

All its activities are organized around three major pillars: the art history of jewelry, the world of gemstones and the know-how of jewelry making techniques.

About the role:

LÉCOLE is currently seeking a Project Executive to join the team starting in July for a temporary role.
The Project Executive will work closely with the Development Manager to support the planning and execution of an upcoming exhibition, as well as assist in the creation and implementation of the accompanying cultural program.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the production and set up of the upcoming exhibition

Manage all the related contractors (production, printing, translation, etc.)

Guarantee the condition and safety of the pieces displayed: packaging, transportation, handling conditions, exhibition conditions

Ensure that the local exhibition environment complies with the conservation standards of the exhibits (raw materials, scenography, showcases, climate control, etc.)

Coordinate and follow-up on condition reports of artworks, preventive conservation, insurance & customs

Follow the logistics flows related to L'Ecole loans at a local level, in close collaboration with the HQ exhibition team and VCA team

Work closely with scenographer, production agency and local teams to successfully deliver the setup of the upcoming exhibition

Create the activations around the exhibition (leaflet for children, cultural program, etc.)

Manage the Booking System of the exhibition

Manage the local budget and ensure compliance with budget guidelines: PO, quotations, invoices follow-up, submission on a timely manner

Key Skills:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role

Organizational skills with advanced time management and a strong eye for details

Analytical skills to translate company expectations and goals into viable insights

Flexibility to work during the weekends and late hours if needed for the events / activations

Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage
