Project Estimation Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various engineering and construction projects, evaluating materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements to ensure competitive and profitable project bids.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare cost estimates
2. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather data and ensure comprehensive cost evaluations
3. Prepare and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities), RFQs, and tender submissions
4. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and competitiveness
5. Monitor market trends, material costs, and labor rates for effective budgeting
6. Conduct risk analysis and value engineering assessments
7. Support the project team during bidding, negotiation, and execution phases
8. Maintain an organized database of estimates and historical project data

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
2. Proven experience as an Estimation Engineer in construction or engineering industries
3. Strong analytical and mathematical skills
4. Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office
5. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
7. Attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
