Job summary

Al Mashreq Global Oil & Gas Services seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee the technical integrity, schedule, man-hour budget, and engineering margin for detailed oil & gas projects. You will lead a multidisciplinary team from kickoff through IFR/IFA/IFC and close-out, ensuring compliance with client specs and industry standards.

The role requires 17+ years in oil & gas detailed engineering, with at least 5 years in Lead/Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Piping or related engineering discipline is required or equivalent.
• Strong background in oil & gas detailed engineering is essential.
• PMP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop Engineering Execution Plan (EEP), WBS, MDR, VDR and discipline procedures from contract SOW and client specs.
• Control man-hour budgets, productivity, and resource histograms; review CPI, SPI and forecast at completion with Project Controls.
• Manage scope via change management (TQs, DCNs, variations) and drive recovery plans on critical-path slippage.
• Lead kick-offs, set discipline KPIs, and run weekly discipline lead meetings on progress and interfaces.
• Act as Technical Authority for process piping, mechanical, C S & E I deliverables; review design outputs (P&IDs, 3D model, stress analysis).
• Lead 30-60-90 model reviews, HAZOP, SIL close-out, IDC and constructability reviews to IFC quality.
• Approve TBEs and critical vendor documents; ensure compliance with ADNOC, API, ASME and IEC requirements.
• Resolve technical holds/deviations and approve key design decisions affecting cost, schedule or safety.
