Role and Responsibilities

1. Ensure implementation and maintenance procedures for control of all documents related to project interfaces.
2. Develop, update, and ensure application of the Interface Management procedure and Project Interface standard matrix.
3. Organize and attend project meetings.
4. Provide engineering advice, assessment, and recommendations to ensure project delivery within time, budget, and quality standards, adhering to industry best practices and safety regulations.
5. Advise on engineering strategies, risk levels, and commercial agreements to identify cost-effective technical solutions and understand risk profiles.
6. Document all assessments, advice, and recommendations per internal procedures and industry standards, ensuring proper technical and commercial due diligence.
7. Provide leadership to project team members across regions.
8. Deliver high-quality, cost-effective engineering advice.
9. Ensure health, safety, and environmental requirements are integrated into design to ensure compliance.
10. Stay updated on technical and commercial developments, identifying new technologies to reduce costs, risks, or improve safety.
11. Implement offshore standards, procedures, tools, and quality requirements to deliver projects according to specifications, budget, and schedule without compromising safety.
12. Capture and share lessons learned from offshore development across project work packages, collaborating with senior engineers to enhance business value.

Skills and Experience

1. Knowledge of offshore platforms, compressors, machinery, and structures.
2. Experience in multidisciplinary engineering within international environments.
3. Significant offshore industry experience, preferably with ADNOC.
4. Experience with health, safety, and environmental legislation related to offshore projects.
5. Strong future planning skills.
6. Proven track record in delivering large packages.
7. Relationship management skills and confidence working with senior management.
8. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
9. Ability to influence engineering decisions.
10. Ability to analyze and anticipate problems, planning and implementing mitigation strategies.
11. Experience providing concise, timely advice to project teams.
12. Relevant experience in offshore/oil and gas fields.
13. Knowledge of engineering procedures, standards, and guidance.
14. Ability to work independently and in teams.
15. Initiative, resilience under pressure, and ability to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
2. Experience in executing contracts in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry.
3. At least 5 years in a Project Engineering Manager or similar role.
4. Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
