Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation and maintenance procedures for control of all documents related to project interfaces.
- Develop, update, and ensure application of the Interface Management procedure and Project Interface standard matrix.
- Organize and attend project meetings.
- Provide engineering advice, assessment, and recommendations to ensure project delivery within time, budget, and quality standards, adhering to industry best practices and safety regulations.
- Advise on engineering strategies, risk levels, and commercial agreements to identify cost-effective technical solutions and understand risk profiles.
- Document all assessments, advice, and recommendations per internal procedures and industry standards, ensuring proper technical and commercial due diligence.
- Provide leadership to project team members across regions.
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective engineering advice.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental requirements are integrated into design to ensure compliance.
- Stay updated on technical and commercial developments, identifying new technologies to reduce costs, risks, or improve safety.
- Implement offshore standards, procedures, tools, and quality requirements to deliver projects according to specifications, budget, and schedule without compromising safety.
- Capture and share lessons learned from offshore development across project work packages, collaborating with senior engineers to enhance business value.
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of offshore platforms, compressors, machinery, and structures.
- Experience in multidisciplinary engineering within international environments.
- Significant offshore industry experience, preferably with ADNOC.
- Experience with health, safety, and environmental legislation related to offshore projects.
- Strong future planning skills.
- Proven track record in delivering large packages.
- Relationship management skills and confidence working with senior management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
- Ability to influence engineering decisions.
- Ability to analyze and anticipate problems, planning and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Experience providing concise, timely advice to project teams.
- Relevant experience in offshore/oil and gas fields.
- Knowledge of engineering procedures, standards, and guidance.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Initiative, resilience under pressure, and ability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- Experience in executing contracts in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry.
- At least 5 years in a Project Engineering Manager or similar role.
- Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
