Job summary

Sener in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking a Project Engineer with 3-7 years of engineering experience and mandatory Rail & Metro project experience to join our team.

You can come from design engineering or site-based engineering, and you will coordinate, manage interfaces, and support project execution in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of overall engineering experience.
• Mandatory Rail & Metro project experience.
• Experience in either design engineering or site-based engineering within Rail & Metro projects.
• Strong communication, organizational, coordination and problem-solving skills with excellent English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering activities, deliverables, and interfaces across Rail & Metro projects.
• Monitor progress, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with design teams, site teams, contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve technical matters.
• Review engineering documentation and support compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Identify and coordinate resolution of technical issues, design discrepancies, site queries, and project risks.
• Support project reporting, progress reviews, change management, and follow-up of coordination actions.
• Participate in technical meetings and multidisciplinary coordination workshops.
• Maintain effective communication between engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.

At Sener, we are delivering some of the region's most complex and innovative infrastructure projects. We are looking for a Project Engineer with 3-7 years of engineering experience and mandatory Rail & Metro project experience to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

We welcome candidates who have developed their experience in either design engineering or site-based engineering and are looking to build on their project engineering, technical coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• 1. Coordinate project engineering activities, technical deliverables, and interfaces across Rail & Metro projects.
• 2. Monitor project progress, schedules, milestones, and engineering deliverables.
• 3. Coordinate with design teams, site teams, contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve technical matters.

Job Requirements:

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• 2. 3-7 years of overall engineering experience.
• 3. Mandatory Rail & Metro project experience.
• 4. Previous experience in either design engineering or site-based engineering within Rail & Metro projects.
• 5. Experience in engineering coordination, technical deliverables, and multidisciplinary project interfaces.
• 6. Understanding of engineering standards, technical specifications, quality requirements, and project documentation.
• 7. Strong communication, organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with excellent English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1. Experience with international engineering consultancies, contractors, or project management consultancies.
• 2. Exposure to major rail, metro, light rail, or railway infrastructure projects.
• 3. Familiarity with GCC engineering standards and project requirements.
• 4. Experience coordinating design and construction interfaces.
