With exciting launches such as Burj Azizi (the second tallest tower in the world), Monaco Mansions, and Azizi Venice, Dubai's new luxurious Venetian-inspired waterfront community, we are rapidly expanding our onsite Supervision team based in Dubai.

As a Mechanical Inspector reporting to the Mechanical Manager, your role involves inspecting and supervising mechanical works on the project. You will examine mechanical activities to ensure structural soundness and compliance with specifications, building codes, and regulations. Inspections may be general or specific, conducted against approved shop drawings and materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect mechanical installations on-site, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.
  • Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, UAE Fire Code, etc.).
  • Report and document non-conformances, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other inspectors to resolve technical issues.
  • Monitor site progress and prepare inspection and progress reports.
  • Maintain safety and quality control standards throughout the project.
  • Verify that equipment and materials meet project specifications and approvals.
  • Participate in site meetings, commissioning, and testing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical inspection within building construction projects in the UAE.
  • Familiar with UAE construction practices and authorities' regulations (Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi DCD, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems and relevant codes.
