Primary Position Enquiries
The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and implementing security system projects for Site Technology's Integrated Security Systems Division. This position focuses on overseeing technical aspects of security system installations, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery. The ideal candidate is a technically proficient professional with strong project management skills and extensive experience in security systems integration.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Project Engineer in security systems
- Essential knowledge of security systems, access control, and security management software
- Professional expertise in industrial security project handling and implementation
- Specialized knowledge in industrial access control systems integration
- Hands-on experience with major security platforms such as : Milestone XProtect, Lenel OnGuard, NEDAP AEOS, Avigilon ACC, Digifort, Suprema...
- Comprehensive understanding of IP CCTV, Video Management Systems, Video Storage, and Access Control Systems
- Strong knowledge of desktop systems, servers, and IP networking
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience in managing multi-national workforce teams
- Excellent analytical and coordination skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and performance under pressure
- Knowledge of industrial / hazard security projects, safety procedures, and quality control
- Excellent command of English language; Arabic language skills are a plus
Role & Responsibilities
Project Management
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate technical and management aspects of projects
- Monitor work compliance with applicable codes, engineering practices, and site standards
- Maintain detailed project plans and financial tracking
- Prepare and submit daily and monthly reports
- Interface effectively with various sub-contractors
- Handle and coordinate installation workforce
- Ensure successful completion of engineering projects
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical oversight and problem resolution across various disciplines
- Implement technological changes throughout project lifecycle
- Maintain and troubleshoot various security systems including CCTV and Access Control
- Ensure proper integration of security systems and components
- Monitor technical compliance and quality standards
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with government authorities, end users, and local suppliers
- Maintain client, vendor, and technology relationships
- Ensure effective communication between all project participants
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve project goals
- Coordinate with different staff levels within the organization
Quality & Compliance
- Monitor work for compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Implement and maintain project methodologies and standards
- Conduct post-implementation reviews
- Ensure all contract requirements are satisfied
- Maintain proper coordination of all site activities
