Job description

Assist Project Managers in executing FEED, detailed design, feasibility, and concept design for Thermal Power Projects.

1. Electrical or Process engineering design review skills.
2. Experience with Gas Turbine power plants, WtE power plants, design review, and PMC.
3. Participate in internal and external project design review meetings, including preparation of Minutes of Meetings.
4. Monitor design work progress and prepare weekly status reports for each assignment.
5. Ensure timely submission of project deliverables.
6. Incorporate interfaces/requirements between all internal disciplines to meet project objectives.
7. Interpret client requirements and communicate effectively with the team.
8. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, practices, standards, and specifications.
9. Manage and coordinate subcontractors for site management and engineering.
10. Facilitate interfaces between all engineering disciplines (Civil, Electrical, I&C, Mechanical, Telecom) as needed.
11. Assist in preparing progress reports in coordination with the Project Services team.
12. Communicate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors through letters and emails.
13. Monitor adherence to QA/QC procedures, standards, and performance requirements.
14. Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and cost control managers to provide technical support.
15. Demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge to identify problems and initiate corrective actions.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
2. Strong time management and attention to detail.
3. Ability to work independently and in a team.
4. Proficiency in MS Office; basic skills in MS Project and Primavera.
5. Good design skills related to Gas Turbine power plants, HRSG, Steam turbines, and WtE power.
6. 5-10 years of experience as a discipline engineer.
7. At least 5 years of experience in Gas Power Plant projects (Gas Turbines).
8. Bachelor's Degree in Process, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering from a recognized university.
9. Mandatory proficiency in English.
