Job summary

ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION & RECONSTRUCTION CO. LLC is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support planning, execution, coordination, and successful completion of construction projects in line with drawings, specs, quality standards, and schedules.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience in building, infrastructure, or civil works, plus strong planning, communication, and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
• Strong experience in building, infrastructure, or civil works.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and project coordination.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project activities and work effectively under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed according to approved schedules.
• Ensure construction works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, progress updates, and technical records.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure quality requirements are maintained.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
• Monitor material requirements, deliveries, and usage at the project site.
• Assist the Project Manager / Construction Manager in planning, execution, and project coordination.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company requirements.
• Support inspections, testing, handover, and project close-out activities.
