A leading company in the railway and construction industry is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join their Projects Department. You will manage complex engineering projects, ensuring completion within budget and on schedule, while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The position requires a solid educational background in engineering and relevant experience in similar projects.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our Projects Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel structures, rail systems, or crane track installations and will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of complex engineering projects—from tender preparation to project close-out.
Prepare tender documents, cost estimations, and project quotations
Conduct feasibility studies (technical, planning, financial)
Coordinate with Technical, Purchasing, Back Office, Finance, and Installation teams
Allocate resources (manpower & machinery) for site activities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
Lead day-to-day operations across project phases: Tender, Pre-Execution, Execution, and Close-Out
Monitor project costs, progress, and compliance with contract terms
Ensure timely completion and quality standards
Liaise with the Installation Manager to oversee on-site execution
Handle client communication and reporting throughout the project
Conduct initial and detailed cost forecasts
Approve project-related expenses and supplier/subcontractor payments
Prepare and track client invoicing and cash flows
Provide bi-monthly updates on project financials to management
Enforce safety regulations and ensure HSE compliance
Maintain quality control documentation and follow protocols
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
2-5 years in project engineering, preferably in construction/steel/railway sectors
Experience on projects valued at $100M+ (preferred)
Strong understanding of steel construction and crane track systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, MS Project, Word, PowerPoint)
Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D or similar tools
Experience with project management software is an advantage
Arabic and/or French is a plus
Proactive, trustworthy, and results-driven
Team-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and reporting skills
