Title
Project Engineer
KBR is looking for a project engineer for Buildings projects at Majnoon EPCM to be based in Abu Dhabi - UAE
Role
The successful candidate Must have experience of buildings supervision from a consultant background he/she will be responsible for the coordination of the design development throughout all the project design phases in addition to supervise the contractor during the construction phase the projects located in Iraq. During the Engineering and Procurement phase, he/she will be based in Abu Dhabi with the requirement to travel to Iraq (Basra region) on business trips from time to time for meetings with the Client and site visits.
Experience in hospitals projects is a must .
Job Duties
- Supervise the design development and construction of different buildings projects
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to the project.
- Monitor progress against accepted construction schedule and review the Contractors progress reports. Assess the progress and inform the Project Manager in case of delay.
- Direct, assist and monitor the performance of Construction Inspection and Office Engineering staff.
- Oversee field site activities and provide technical advice on construction and design.
- review and approve contracts submittals
- Participate in contract close-out activities.
- Conduct regular progress meetings with the contractor and appropriate personnel and report on any issues, as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in architectural ,civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 15+ years of supervision consultant experience in hospitals projects, including a background in both field inspection and office engineering.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret contract documents and construction plans and specifications.
