Project Director / Senior Project Director - High-Rise Tower (Expression of Interest)

WSP Middle East is seeking a high-caliber Project Director / Senior Project Director to lead the successful delivery of a landmark high-rise tower in Riyadh, KSA. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a skyline-defining development and work at the forefront of engineering excellence in the region.

The successful candidate will have an unwavering commitment to quality across all aspects of delivery—service provision, client relationships, team leadership, and supervision of construction works. You will oversee all project phases, ensuring alignment with client expectations, budget, schedule, and WSP's standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a high-rise / supertall tower project, ensuring the highest quality standards at every stage.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and acting as the primary contact.
• Develop and manage high-performing multidisciplinary teams, promoting collaboration and accountability.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule, meeting client and business objectives.
• Oversee project execution, including design management, construction supervision, cost control, and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide strategic leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote innovation, sustainability, and digital best practices in project delivery.
• Represent WSP at senior-level meetings and industry forums as needed.

Qualifications

• A degree relevant to the project scope, with the ability to discuss technical matters across disciplines involved in construction supervision.
• 20+ years of experience leading construction supervision of multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience working for an international consultancy for over 20 years, with more than 5 years in the Middle East.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a strong client interface.
• Proven experience managing large-scale tunneling and hospitality projects, with technical expertise.
• Project management certification such as PMP, RICS, or similar is preferred.
