TalentOne is seeking a Project Director with a Civil Engineering background to lead the delivery of depot and terminal facilities for a major High-Speed Rail project in the UAE. The role requires proven main-contractor leadership with accountability for construction execution, programme, quality, safety and handover.

Responsibilities include directing civil/structural works, managing budgets and interfaces with rail systems, and coordinating with clients, consultants, JV partners and authorities

Qualifications

• 20+ years of construction experience, including rail or infrastructure projects.
• 5+ years as Project Director or equivalent on major rail or infrastructure projects.
• Delivery of rail depots, maintenance workshops or rail terminals facilities.
• Strong main-contractor experience with budgets, subcontractors and site execution.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred; high-speed rail experience is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery from design coordination and mobilisation through construction, commissioning support and final handover.
• Direct civil, structural and building works, including depot workshops, maintenance facilities, operational buildings, yards, utilities and external infrastructure.
• Manage project budgets, cash flow, procurement, subcontractors, resources and construction milestones.
• Coordinate civil interfaces with track, MEP, rail systems, depot equipment and operational requirements.
• Lead client, consultant, JV partner and authority coordination, ensuring timely approvals and resolution of delivery issues.
• Oversee contractual obligations, variations, claims, risk mitigation and recovery programmes.
• Drive HSE, quality and team performance across all construction activities.

• Provenknowledge of civil/structural works, building construction and interfaceswith railway systems.
• Strongcontract administration, commercial management and stakeholder leadershipskills.
• UAE/GCCexperience preferred; high-speed rail experience is an advantage.
• PMP orequivalent project management certification preferred.
