Job summary

TalentOne is seeking a Planning Manager with strong main-contractor experience to lead planning, scheduling and progress control for the civil construction of rail depots and terminal facilities in the UAE project.

The role requires advanced Primavera P6 skills, leadership of planning engineers, and cross-functional coordination with construction, engineering, procurement and project management teams to ensure milestones are met and EOT submissions prepared.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 12–15+ years construction planning experience, 5+ years in leadership.
• Main-contractor experience with site execution and subcontractor coordination.
• Proven planning experience on rail depots, terminals, or major infra projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 skills and knowledge of sequencing, resource planning, EV and delay analysis.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred; high-speed rail experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Primavera P6 baseline programme covering all phases.
• Prepare resource- and cost-loaded schedules aligned with milestones.
• Monitor site progress, critical paths, float, and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules, recovery programmes, dashboards and client reports.
• Coordinate subcontractor programmes and interfaces across disciplines.
• Assess programme impact of variations and delays.
• Support EOT submissions and delay analysis with contracts team.
• Lead planning engineers and coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement and project management teams.

Location: UAE Project: High-Speed Rail Infrastructure

We are seeking a Planning Manager with strongmain-contractor experience to lead planning, scheduling and progress controlfor the civil construction of rail depots and terminal facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Developand manage the integrated Primavera P6 baseline programme, coveringdesign, approvals, procurement, construction, testing and handover.
• Prepareresource- and cost-loaded schedules aligned with construction methods,quantities, productivity rates and contractual milestones.
• Monitorsite progress, critical paths, float and resource performance; identifydelays and drive corrective actions.
• Preparelook-ahead schedules, recovery programmes, progress dashboards and clientreports.
• Integratesubcontractor programmes and coordinate civil, structural, architectural,MEP, track and depot equipment interfaces.
• Assessthe programme impact of variations, late approvals, access restrictionsand procurement delays.
• SupportExtension of Time (EOT) submissions and delay analysis, maintainingreliable records with the contracts and commercial teams.
• Leadplanning engineers and coordinate closely with construction, engineering,procurement and project management teams.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor'sdegree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Typically12-15+ years of construction planning experience, including 5+ years in aplanning leadership role.
• Main-contractorexperience is essential, with direct involvement in site execution,subcontractor coordination and programme recovery.
• Provenplanning experience on rail depots, terminals, stations or comparablemajor infrastructure and building projects.
• AdvancedPrimavera P6 skills and strong knowledge of construction sequencing,resource planning, earned value and delay analysis.
• Experiencepreparing baseline programmes, progress updates and EOT substantiationunder major construction contracts.
• UAE/GCCexperience preferred; high-speed rail experience is an advantage.
• Stronganalytical, reporting and stakeholder coordination skills.
