We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Project Director to lead the delivery of large-scale construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments, with a proven ability to oversee all phases of the project lifecycle—from mobilisation to handover.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage cross-functional teams including site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Oversee project mobilisation, structural works, finishing, and commissioning phases.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and cost forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
- Liaise with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress and timely approvals.
- Implement lean construction methodologies and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor site performance, resolve issues, and ensure timely reporting to senior management.
- Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and risk assessments.
- Manage procurement, subcontractor negotiations, and vendor relationships.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in the UAE.
- Proven track record of delivering high-value projects (AED 100M+), ideally in residential or mixed-use developments.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE construction regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
