Project Director - Healthcare

Salary: 50 – 60k Dirhams Monthly

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Paritas works with a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting who is currently on the lookout for a Project Director to join their team in the Middle East.

The position will cover a mid-sized hospital project and will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction, commissioning, and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and direct the planning, design, and execution of a complex healthcare infrastructure project.
2. Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
3. Oversee project scope, cost estimation, scheduling, procurement, quality, and safety management.
4. Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, planners, and project managers.
5. Ensure projects meet healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., JCI, HTM, DHA, MOH).
6. Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans.
7. Conduct regular progress reviews, reporting status to stakeholders and executive leadership.
8. Oversee tendering processes, contract negotiation, and claims management.
9. Drive adherence to international best practices in construction and healthcare facility design.

Candidate Profile:

1. Healthcare experience and a proven track record of PMC in the Gulf, preferably Dubai, are essential.
2. Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes.
3. Solid experience in construction project management.
4. Proven track record in delivering hospital or medical complex builds in the Middle East or internationally.
5. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation abilities.
6. Deep knowledge of healthcare compliance, MEP systems, and medical facility standards.
7. Excellent financial, scheduling, and reporting skills.
