Job Description

DNV Inspection UAE is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage projects, ensure smooth operations, and support operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

full management and coordination for worldwide and construction activities.

all day-to-day activities / coordination with Customer.

Coordinator will be focal point for co-ordination with Customer and their main role is to co-ordinate with EPC CONTRACTOR offices and construction, vendor / equipment inspectors, marine inspectors/surveyors.

Coordinators shall have a graduate degree in relevant engineering/ technical discipline from reputed and recognized institute equivalent to BSc in Engineering with minimum Ten 10 years of relevant QA/QC experience in the Oil and Gas field projects, must have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position for major oil/gas projects. CONTRACTOR Managers and Coordinators responsibilities shall be:
  • Nominate CONTRACTOR personnel and send the CVs for COMPANY review and approval
  • Appoint the approved CONTRACTOR personnel for each assignment
  • Keep COMPANY informed of the progress and status of the individual assignments, with respect to schedules, quality of work, and provide leadership and direction in the resolution of problems in conjunction with COMPANY.
  • Obtain information from CONTRACTOR personnel, consolidate and produce inspection and man hour control reports for COMPANY.
  • Provide the technical support and assessment for inspection reports developed by CONTRACTOR personnel with adequate evaluation before submitting to COMPANY
  • Ensure timely and efficient communication and co-ordination between COMPANY representatives and any appointed CONTRACTOR personnel.
  • Ensure periodical monitoring of all CONTRACTOR personnel assigned to COMPANY'S assignments with respect to adherence to discipline, HSE rules and regulations, professional competence for the assigned task and report to COMPANY.
  • Coordinates the source/site inspection activities with inspection team.
  • Prepares and updates relevant inspection schedules based on the manufacturing schedule submitted by Manufacturers/EPC CONTRACTORs and communicates the same to inspection teams.
  • Initiate, implement and maintains the required tracking registers to monitor the progress of the inspections for each purchase order as per the approved ITP's.
  • Maintain a traceable filing system for all inspection reports received.
  • Maintain tracking records for inspector's assignments and time sheets

Inspector Management
  • Register Inspectors in the HR System.
  • Align Inspector availability with client requests.
  • Source and submit CVs to clients for approval.
  • Ensure Inspectors follow client-specific procedures before inspections.
  • Validate inspection reports before submitting to clients.
  • Check Inspector qualifications and register them in the DNV system.

Client & Inspection Coordination
  • Read and familiarise with all contract terms and conditions.
  • Serve as the main contact for clients and Inspectors.
  • Track Inspectors' schedules and tasks.
  • Manage project documents, ensuring contract costs align.
  • Provide monthly financial reports and support the finance team with payment follow-ups.
  • Support additional operational and sales activities as needed.
