Vertiv in the UAE seeks a Project Co-ordinator for NPDI Busbar PL to drive cross-functional New Product Development and sustaining projects. You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, production and logistics to optimize timelines and ensure project success across regions.

Responsibilities include planning, progress reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement. The role requires strong communication and collaboration across multiple levels and departments.

Qualifications

Job Title: Project Co-ordinator – NPDI Busbar PL

Function/Department: Busbar Product Line (PL)

Reports to: Senior Manager Global Programme Management - NPDI

Location: RAK, UAE

Job Summary

The Project co-ordinator is responsible and accountable for the cross-functional management of new product development and sustaining projects. These projects range in complexity that span functions, organizations, geographic regions, and cultures. The Project co-ordinator coordinates the efforts of engineering, manufacturing, manufacturing, procurement, quality, production, logistics, and other cross functional groups to optimize time to Expedite NPDI projects . The Project co-ordinator must build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with project stakeholders at multiple levels, specifically with internal departments and sections, to ensure success of the projects.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cross-functional planning and project execution, ensuring the project is delivered on time
• Monitor project tasks to be done by other departments and ensure activities are finished on time
• Report project progress through schedule update, to assure the project is on target for schedule
• Identify key potential issues and escalation it to higher ups to ensure that the project does not slip
• Identify key risks and prepare contingency plans
• Adhre to the the NPDI, New Product Develop & Introduction process
• Assist project team members as required
• Identify and lead continuous improvement projects

Qualifications

• Diploma with 3 years experience or Bachelors degree in Engineering with 2 years experience, or other technical degree.
• Proven ability to communicate & negotiate with people in various level to accomplish tasks
• competence in problem-solving,follow, report preparation and update
• Experience in conducting meeting to ensure the progress
• Ability to quickly develop cross functional relationships to achieve project execution
• results-oriented with proven ability to accomplish goals
• knowledge with Microsoft Office 365 applications, Microsoft Project, & Smartsheet
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
