Job Purpose:
To coordinate project execution from quotation to delivery, ensuring timelines, cost accuracy, and client satisfaction. The Project Coordinator / Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, managing project documentation, and supporting day-to-day operations across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimation:
- Review client inquiries and technical drawings to prepare accurate quotations.
- Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs based on production specs.
- Liaise with suppliers for up-to-date pricing and delivery timelines.
- Prepare cost breakdowns and submit timely proposals to the sales or project teams.
- Maintain and update the pricing database and estimation templates.
Project Coordination:
- Assist in planning and tracking project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Prepare and follow up on project schedules, work orders, and installation plans.
- Act as a point of contact between the design, production, installation, and client servicing teams.
- Coordinate approvals for designs and drawings from clients and internal teams.
- Monitor progress and report project status to the Project Manager.
- Ensure all documentation, including invoices and delivery notes, is accurate and properly filed.
Skills
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in estimation and/or project coordination, preferably in signage, printing, fit-out, or fabrication industries.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and project tracking tools (e.g., Trello, Zoho Projects, or MS Project).
- Familiarity with reading AutoCAD drawings and technical documents is a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
