Job summary

Black & Grey HR seeks an experienced Project Controls Manager for a leading contracting and construction company in Dubai. You will oversee planning, cost control, progress monitoring and risk management on large-scale high-rise developments.

The role requires strong expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear management reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a Civil Engineering degree and at least 10 years in project planning and controls.
• Experience with contracting companies and large-scale high-rise projects is essential.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel for planning, cost control and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor detailed project schedules, budgets and control systems.
• Track progress against baselines and identify delays, cost variations and risks.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for senior management.
• Coordinate with project, site, procurement, commercial and finance teams.
• Provide reliable project data, forecasts and performance analysis to management.

Black & Grey HR is recruiting an experienced Project Controls Manager for a leading contracting and construction company. The role will be responsible for project planning, cost control, progress monitoring, risk management, and management reporting across large-scale, high-rise construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor detailed project schedules, budgets, and control systems.
• Establish project baselines and regularly track actual progress against planned targets.
• Identify schedule delays, cost variations, risks, and potential project bottlenecks.
• Prepare recovery plans and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, resource requirements, and overall performance.
• Prepare accurate weekly and monthly progress reports for senior management.
• Coordinate closely with project, site, procurement, commercial, and finance teams.
• Support management with reliable project data, forecasts, and performance analysis.
• Ensure projects are delivered within the approved timeline, budget, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project planning and controls within the construction industry.
• Strong experience with contracting companies and large-scale high-rise projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of scheduling, cost control, forecasting, risk management, and progress reporting.
• Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
