• Expertise in risk identification, assessment and mitigation planning.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6 or equivalent).
• Experience developing and maintaining risk registers and control documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication to present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI or similar).
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment across multiple project teams.
• Background in construction, engineering or infrastructure PMC/PMO environment is desired.

• Implementing the Risk Management Plan and supporting project teams in applying the risk management process.

• Undertaking ad hoc QRAs outside the formal risk framework when required.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Management Engineer or Project Controls Engineer with risk management experience to join our organization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating project risks while maintaining robust project controls across multiple initiatives. You will work collaboratively with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to communicate complex risk and control information effectively to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the Risk facilitator for a large aviation/ airport project.
• Implementing the Risk Management Plan and supporting project teams in applying the risk management process.
• Facilitating risk workshops with project stakeholders.
• Maintaining risk registers and ensuring risks and associated actions are updated accordingly.
• Preparing monthly and ad hoc risk reports.
• Undertaking ad hoc Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRAs), where required, outside of the formal Risk Management Plan and delivery governance framework.
• Maintaining a strong focus on risk mitigation plans and proactively following up with action owners to ensure timely completion of agreed actions.

Requirements

• 3 - 5+ years of experience in risk management, project controls, or related project management discipline
• Demonstrated expertise in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent)
• Experience developing and maintaining risk registers and control documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and collaborate across multiple project teams
• Background in construction, engineering, or infrastructure project delivery or planning / project controls functions within a PMC/PMO environment is desired
