Job summary

Archirodon is seeking four experienced Project Controls Engineers to join an Oil & Gas project in the UAE. The role focuses on drafting controls procedures, preparing internal/external reports, and maintaining registers for procurement, subcontracts, and deliverables.

Ideal candidates have a university degree in engineering, 5 years of construction experience, ADNOC EPC exposure, and fluency in English. Strong cost control, planning, and project management skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering.
  • 5 years relevant experience in construction industry at a similar level.
  • Experience in EPC projects with ADNOC is essential.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Knowledge of project management tools.
  • Knowledge of basic financial concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Draft project‑specific Project Controls Procedures as per contract requirements.
  • Participate in preparing project internal and external reports in the required format.
  • Initiate, coordinate and maintain project lists of deliverables, including those for project procedures and plans, engineering, procurement, material submittals, method statements, etc.
  • Puts together procurement packages including quantities take‑off, contract specifications and technical requirements, delivery schedule, etc.
  • Initiate and maintain Procurement Status Register.
  • Prepare and maintain Subcontractors Register.
  • Assist in drafting subcontract agreements and negotiating subcontract prices.
  • Assist in subcontract administration and related correspondences, measurements, payment certification, closing final account, etc.
  • Coordinate and maintain Engineering Deliverables Status Register.
  • Prepare a list of project materials along with the required quantities and maintain a continuous project materials reconciliation.
  • Ensure that project records and diaries are maintained including photos, list of daily activities, climate conditions, utilized & idle resources, productivities, important events, verbal site instructions, etc.
  • Monitor the contract scope of work and any variations thereto.
  • Prepare and maintain variations and claims registers.
  • Collect, maintain and group contemporary records necessary for assessment and substantiation of variations and claims.
  • Prepare variation and claim submissions.
  • Collaborate with quantity surveyors in preparing and submitting monthly payment requests.
  • Assist in preparing budget and current estimates and monitor any variances.
  • Participate in establishing project cost centers and allocate costs accordingly.
