Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Controller to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Project Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and operational aspects of our projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Monitor project costs and variances to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
• Prepare and review project financial statements, including profit and loss statements and cash flow projections
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and monitor progress against milestones
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans for projects
• Communicate project financial status and risks to project stakeholders and management
• Ensure compliance with company and client financial policies and procedures
• Provide guidance and support to project teams on financial matters
• Assist with project invoicing and collections
• Participate in project reviews and provide recommendations for improvement
• Contribute to the development and implementation of project control processes and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project control or project management, preferably in the engineering or construction industry
• Strong understanding of project financial management principles and practices
• Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of UAE project management regulations and standards is a plus
• Professional certification in project management or finance is an asset
