Job summary

Mackenzie Jones Middle East is seeking a Project Controller in Dubai to analyze projects, drive business improvements, and work closely with Project Managers. The role reports to the Commercial Director and focuses on financial performance, compliance, and process optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification and professional finance credentials (CPA/ACCA), with experience in construction or oil & gas and a willingness to travel across the Middle East & Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, business, or a related field.
• Professional finance qualification such as CPA or ACCA is required.
• Six Sigma and Lean knowledge or certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project performance records for compliance and financial performance.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to monitor project progress.
• Record divisional scorecards and track key performance indicators.
• Identify trends in performance and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist budgeting and reforecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and organizational requirements.

Our client, a security and risk solutions company in Dubai is searching for a Project Controller to join their fast paced team in Dubai.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Project Controller is responsible for analyzing projects carried about by the business unit as well as developing business improvement initiatives and working closely with the Project Managers.

Responsibilities:

• Creation of and maintenance of project performance records in relation to compliance and financial performance
• Working closely with Project Managers
• Recording divisional Scorecards
• Identifying trends in business performance and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Budgeting and reforecasting
• Compliance with HSE and organisational requirements

Candidate Requirements

• Candidates must be tertiary qualified
• Professional finance qualification such as CPA or ACCA
• Six Sigma and Lean
• Experience in a similar role
• Experience in the Construction or Oil & Gas Industry
• Open to travelling to various location in the Middle East & Africa
