Primary Responsibilities:
These qualifications ensure a Project Control Manager can efficiently monitor and control all aspects of a project, including scope, cost, time, and quality.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as:
- Project Management
- Construction Management
Master's Degree (optional, but advantageous):- A master's in Project Management, Business Administration (MBA), or related fields.
Work Experience
Typically, 5-10 years in project management or control roles, with experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control. Industry-specific experience (construction, engineering, oil & gas, IT) and leadership experience are preferred.
Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI
- Certified Cost Professional (CCP) - AACE International
- Agile or Scrum Certification (optional)
- Scheduling Certifications (e.g., PMI-SP)
- Risk Management Certifications (e.g., PMI-RMP)
Other Qualities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure

Experience and Skills
- Project Control Tools: Proficiency with software like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, etc.

- Leadership & Communication: Effective communication and leadership skills
