Primary Responsibilities:

These qualifications ensure a Project Control Manager can efficiently monitor and control all aspects of a project, including scope, cost, time, and quality.

Qualifications

1. Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as:
• Project Management
• Construction Management

• A master's in Project Management, Business Administration (MBA), or related fields.

Work Experience

Typically, 5-10 years in project management or control roles, with experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control. Industry-specific experience (construction, engineering, oil & gas, IT) and leadership experience are preferred.

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) - AACE International
• Agile or Scrum Certification (optional)
• Scheduling Certifications (e.g., PMI-SP)
• Risk Management Certifications (e.g., PMI-RMP)

Other Qualities

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
• High professionalism and accountability

Experience and Skills

• Project Control Tools: Proficiency with software like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, etc.
• Financial & Cost Management: Budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Scheduling & Planning: Creating and maintaining project schedules
• Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating risks
• Leadership & Communication: Effective communication and leadership skills
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Quick issue identification and resolution
