Job Objective
The safe and effective delivery of a portfolio of Brownfield Safety Critical Projects on multiple offshore platforms; including large production complexes (multiple platforms bridge linked) and remote Wellhead Towers, located offshore within the UAE under an EPCM contracting model.
Typical projects include Fire & Gas System Upgrades, Power Upgrades, Control System Upgrades, Flare System Upgrades and Platform Structural Modifications.
Establishment and management of the Project Controls team to provide delivery excellence across the portfolio of projects.
Establishment and maintenance of systems, processes, and procedures, to deliver integrated, efficient delivery of Schedules, Cost Control, Estimation, Budgets and Risk Management.
Integration and oversight of Construction Contractors Schedule top ensure alignment with overall Integrated Schedule to achieve delivery assurance.
Provide certainty and confidence to the Client and Wood Project Sponsor, that the contract is being delivered safely with a strong focus on optimization, cost control, risk management, schedule adherence and stakeholder management.
Provide the Project Management with accurate monthly cost and progress reports incorporating early warning, forecast completions, together with the critical path and trend analyses.
Ensure that all work is performed without compromise to quality and in line with the company s procedures.
Responsibilities
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Ensures that project control activities are performed in accordance with the contractual agreements and the Client s requirements.
- Develop and implement the Project Control Execution Plan.
- Responsible for ensuring all project specific control tools and systems are set up and functioning adequately.
- Ensure project control staff are competent to carry out assigned work.
- Review and approval of Construction & Commissioning Contractors Base Line Schedule and Project Controls Plan including progress measurement and payment mechanisms.
- Manage the Integrated Schedule to include all activities including engineering, procurement, logistics, marine spread, construction and commissioning activities across a portfolio of projects and several contractors.

Qualifications
- B.S. or equivalent degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum Experience
- 15 years relevant experience in the oil & gas industry including offshore Brownfield projects., including at least five (5) years in similar position.
Role-Specific Skills/ Experience
- Significant experience and capability in management of budgeting, controlling costs, planning, scheduling and management of change on EPCm projects
- Knowledgeable across engineering, procurement and constructions execution
- Understands the use and applications of Project Controls department tools and systems
- Possess keen business insight, embraces Wood s strategic purpose and goals and translates these into practical concepts relevant to project execution
- Builds knowledge networks, creates and maintains a global network of subject matter experts inside and outside their team and Wood.
