Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using tools like Primavera P6.
- Perform critical path analysis and resource levelling to ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports highlighting deviations and proposing corrective.
Cost Control & Budget Management:
- Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and forecasting.
- Conduct cost variance analyses and implement measures to maintain budget adherence.
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to align expenditures with project milestones.
Project Setup & Controls Implementation:
- Collaborate with project management and document control teams to establish effective project control systems.
- Define and implement project control processes, tools, and procedures in line with company standards.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication:
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, including progress, cost, and schedule updates.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 6–7 years of experience in project controls within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on offshore and onshore projects.
- Proven experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) phases.
- Prior involvement in ADNOC projects or major oil and gas projects in the Middle East is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project control software such as Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of cost control methodologies and project scheduling techniques.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the Middle East.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with ADNOC-specific requirements and standards.
- Background with reputed EPC contractors operating in the Middle East.
- Familiarity with International regulatory standards and project execution practices.
