Job description

The Communications Executive will support internal and external communication for the new cargo terminal project. This role involves developing and distributing newsletters, drafting official correspondence in both Arabic and English, and creating engaging PowerPoint presentations for senior management to communicate project progress. The Communications Executive will also manage social media content related to the terminal’s development, ensuring consistent messaging and stakeholder engagement.

Accountabilities

• Develop, write, and distribute newsletters with project updates, milestones, and key messages for internal and external stakeholders
• Draft formal letters and communications in both Arabic and English, ensuring professionalism, clarity, and alignment with project tone and objectives
• Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership to present project progress, key risks, and achievements
• Manage and update content on the project’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook), highlighting major events, milestones, and public engagement
• Coordinate with project teams to gather content and visuals for newsletters, presentations, and social media posts
• Monitor social media engagement and feedback, respond to inquiries where appropriate, and escalate concerns when necessary
• Support communication needs for stakeholder events, press releases, briefings, and public relations activities
• Ensure all communication materials meet quality, branding, and messaging standards and are professionally written and error-free
• Track and report on communication performance including newsletter reach, social media engagement, and stakeholder feedback
• Provide recommendations to enhance communication effectiveness based on engagement insights and feedback trends

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in communications, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English, with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and social media platforms.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and experience working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to create and manage engaging content, presentations, and social media strategies.
