The opportunity

You as a Project Business Controller will be part of Hitachi Energy. You will support Project Managers in all financial and commercial matters and actively drive project performance. You will be assigned to multiple projects and also support the OU controller with business controlling.

How you'll make an impact

• Support tender stage activities by assisting the tender manager with financial aspects, contributing to negotiations on commercial issues, and participating in local and global risk review processes.
• Provide input to the Project Plan regarding financial aspects.
• Prepare project invoices, manage financial accounting and reporting, oversee cash flow, currency risk, and tax issues. Ensure the accuracy of the project's balance sheet and income statement, as well as cash flow and forecasts.
• Participate in opportunity risk identification, monitor mitigation actions, and support monthly project reviews. Assist in analyzing project cost reports and verifying cost-to-complete data.
• Support commercial terms management, including claims, backcharges, insurance cases, and monitor follow-up activities with the Contract Manager, Project Manager, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with corporate governance, internal controls, and country-specific finance directives.
• Act as deputy and support the Operating Unit Controller on business controlling topics.

Your background
