We are looking for a passionate Project Bid Engineer as the key technical advisor and product advocate to actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.

The primary job location is in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and the role would be supporting the business functions and customers in MEA.

As a Project Bid Engineer, you are a key person to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. About the job

  1. Support the Sales team across the region for Energy Division GPHE Process + WHE Business Units and be true business partners and Sales enablers.
  2. Directly support and be the key technical partner for complex projects making visits, meetings, and interactions with customers focusing on product presentations to offer a customized and willing value proposition.
  3. Cluster trainer for a specific product and application: Define and deliver cluster training programs for the Alfa Laval employees, channels, and customers.
  4. Coordinate closely with Project management and Order handling teams to ensure gross margin maintenance and improvement from order receipt through close of execution. Taking the lead on arresting any margin bleed for your orders.
  5. Be a visible technical expert both online and in real life talking about our Product and Applications in industry and promoting the Alfa Laval brand with our customers.

Your profile

Technical knowledge: Product knowledge and deep understanding of the customer process and applications; Competent in various separation processes and products.

Digital communication: Express (written & verbal) in an appealing way: personal (authentic), concise, relevant. Use active listening. Have a social media active profile and use digital channels to increase network and secure presence.

Digital customer support interaction: Proactive, service-minded, strong in customer care and take quick actions.

Facilitation skills: Ability to train and coach others on Products and Applications.

Qualification & Experience

Mechanical or Chemical engineering graduate, relevant experience with other engineering qualifications is also welcome.

The position is primarily based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
