Job description

Purpose

The Project Associate is responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of technology projects from the planning and requirements phase to project delivery and closure while ensuring the project delivers significant business value. Time, budget and quality are key performance indicators of delivery. The projects will be delivered using a modern lean waterfall methodology.

The Project Associate will work closely with Project Specialists, Project Managers, and Senior Project Managers in supporting all delivery activities as required for successful execution.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver assigned tasks to support the delivery of programmes and projects in in accordance with Etihad Engineering governance frameworks, tools, processes, policies, procedures and standards - ensuring all external supplier resources adhere to Etihad Engineering policies and procedures
  • Collate and analyse programme / project data to produce transparent reports and presentations --- escalating identified issues as required
  • Managing the programme / project documentation library in alignment with governance standards ensuring availability of working and approved versions
  • Monitors adherence to governance frameworks by the programme / project teams advising on requirements and standards
  • Ensure mandatory PPM tool data is complete, accurate and timely enabling transparent reporting for assigned programmes and projects identifying areas deviation advising on requirements and standards
  • Arranges internal and external programme / project events
  • Monitors external resource physical and logical security
  • Provide feedback / suggestions to continually improve project management frameworks, processes and tools

Education & Experience

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in project management support
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent is mandatory
  • Effective interpersonal skills including collaborating, team building, and communication skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
