Overview

Manage payroll and project accounting, ensuring timely billing, revenue recognition, and analysis of financial results while supporting project managers. Responsible for the complete accounting cycle, managing payables, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with policies while possessing strong analytical and interpersonal skills. The role involves financial record keeping, accounts payable and receivable management, financial reporting, and compliance using Yardi software in real estate. Manage daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support oil trading activities with strong analytical and financial systems skills. Seek a candidate with team leadership, VAT and IFRS expertise to manage multiple clients, prepare financial statements, and advise on tax strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support oil trading activities with strong analytical and financial systems skills.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, process invoices, maintain records, perform reconciliations, and ensure billing accuracy.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, oversee financial reporting processes, and ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards.
  • Handle VAT and IFRS considerations, provide guidance on tax strategies, and support budgeting and internal controls.
  • Lead or support project accounting activities, ensure accurate project costing and revenue recognition, and collaborate with project managers.
  • Utilize ERP systems (e.g., Yardi) and maintain strong MS Excel skills to analyze financial data and support audits.
  • Prepare customer invoices, monitor accounts receivable, and ensure timely collections.
  • Process supplier invoices and vendor payments; supervise a small accounting team where applicable and coordinate with departments for efficiency.
  • Assist in financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records; support budgets and internal control initiatives.
  • Maintain records of financial transactions, ensure compliance with regulations, and support audits.
Qualifications
