Project Accountant

Job Location: Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain adherence to standard accounting procedures, encompassing payroll processing, postings, and financial statement preparation.
2. Contribute to the budget process by preparing draft budgets and ensuring compliance with established contract terms and conditions.
3. Develop and implement tax structures and strategies for international projects.
4. Generate monthly project financial reports and oversee activities related to bank transactions, including letters of credit and fund transfers.
5. Journalling invoices and credit notes, as well as managing payments, receipts, and reconciliations of receivables.
6. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; holding certifications such as ACCA or CA is advantageous.
2. Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.
3. Fluency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
